Come Bet in Craps

A Come bet is a Pass Line bet you can make after the point is established. It shares the Pass Line's low 1.41% house edge and lets you build multiple numbers.

How the Come bet works

Place a Come bet at any time after a point is set. The very next roll acts as your personal come-out: 7 or 11 wins, 2/3/12 loses, and any other number becomes your come point. Your bet then moves to that number and wins if it repeats before a 7.

Why use Come bets

Come bets let you get several numbers working at the same low edge as the Pass Line, and you can take odds on each of them at 0% edge. It is the core of the most efficient craps strategy: Pass Line + Come bets, all backed with odds.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between a Come bet and the Pass Line?

They are mechanically identical; the only difference is timing. The Pass Line is made before the come-out roll, while a Come bet is made after the point is set.

Can I take odds on a Come bet?

Yes. Once your Come bet travels to a number, you can back it with a 0% house-edge odds bet, just like the Pass Line.
